Amman, Oct. 25 (Petra) -- Director General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Rafiq Khirfan and Head of the Parliamentary Palestine Committee, MP Sulaiman Al-Saud, accompanied by heads of camp service committees and members of advisory bodies, offered their condolences on Sunday to the families of the martyrs in the Hmoud village of Karak Governorate who died in the attack targeting a local church.
Khirfan and the accompanying delegation conveyed deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, emphasizing that targeting innocent people and places of worship represents an assault on human and religious values and that standing alongside the victims' families is a national and human duty reflecting the authenticity and cohesion of Jordanian society.
Khirfan stated that the visit demonstrates genuine solidarity with the families of the martyrs, noting that Jordanians form a single family that shares both joys and sorrows and stands united under all circumstances.
He added that residents of Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan represent an integral part of the national fabric, bound to their Jordanian brothers by ties of brotherhood, belonging, and a shared destiny, noting that such solidarity reinforces compassion and unity across all segments of society.
Khirfan emphasized that Jordan's strength rests on the unity of its internal front and cohesion behind its Hashemite leadership, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II. He added that public awareness and adherence to values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence prevent any attempts to compromise national security and stability.
The visit comes to reinforce social communication and national solidarity, strengthening the internal front to preserve Jordanian unity in the face of various challenges.
